Navigating Life's Journey: Lessons from a Subway Misadventure

Life is often compared to a journey. A journey filled with different paths, stages, and destinations. It's like taking a trip from one place to another. We progress through various chapters of life.

Like on any journey, there are many roads to choose from. The key is making sure the road you pick leads you to your desired destination. It's about being mindful of the scenery around you – are you heading in the right direction?

Let me share a little adventure from a recent trip to Niagara Falls for a women's clinic with my friend Terri. It was a fantastic chance to meet friends and family. We connected with Caren in Niagara Falls and then decided to take a trip to Manhattan to meet up with TJ in Harlem.

We hopped on the subway, passing through neighborhoods, schools, and stores. Then we noticed the New York City skyline getting further away. Oops! We took the wrong direction on the connecting train. The scenery no longer matched our destination.

A kind stranger helped us get back on track, though we were a bit delayed. Here's the lesson. Pay attention to your surroundings. Getting lost is not ideal if you’ve got somewhere to be with people waiting for you. And you do have people waiting for you to share your genius with them.

Take a look at your life. Are you who you want to be? Are you living the life you desire? If the road you are on is taking you to where you desire, by all means stay on that road. If not, check the scenery around you. Reroute and get back on course. It is not too late.

Remember, life is your journey, and there are people excited to share in your brilliance. So, stay on the right track, and keep sharing your unique genius with the world.
